Perfect replacement for cleaning my husband’s razor. He says it feels like close to new each morning. Great for the laziest person. Lol

I have used these Braun "Clean and Renew" solutions for several years. They do a very effective job of keeping my electric shaver like new.

I would suggest that yes, you should.I get where Braun is coming from by developing the easiest and most friction-free process for cleaning its high-end electric shavers, even with the negatives of higher cost and greater waste.The bottom line is that these things are actually better than most of the options that involve refilling cartridges with dedicated shaver cleaning liquid or powders added to isopropyl alcohol.What’s better about them?They’re made from ethanol rather than isopropyl, which is gentler on the plastics used in the shaver and the cleaning station.The ethanol-based Braun cleaning liquid evaporates better/faster than isopropyl.They have lubricant as part of the formula so there’s no need to clean and then oil the blade cassette.The convenience factor is meaningfully better with the cartridges.The cost of cartridges isn’t actually much different than the cost of other (fussier) options if you buy these things in bulk.(Frugality tip: if you pull the cartridge out and put the cover back on and then reinstall and do the cleaning cycle once per week, the cartridges don’t evaporate and will last a lot longer, especially if you brush off the cassette before running the cleaning cycle. You may only need one cartridge every six months or so.)~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Granted, using six cartridges per year rather than one cartridge case and a couple of plastic alcohol bottles for refilling may be slightly more wasteful; but again, only slightly. And I think that there are other higher-gain ways to reduce waste than to not use shaver cleaning cartridges 😊So all in all, I suggest that you live a little and consider going for the small luxury of Braun’s shaver cleaning cartridges.

I was questioning the fit since this one is different than what I had used before for my 900 series razor. But it fit just as before but may not hold as much cleaner.

Husband uses for Braun - cleans well

I always buy these, but when I opened this pack, I was a little concerned. They have changned the design. The cartridge fots and works perfectly though. The photo shows the new one on the left.

The Braun Shaver cleaner work very well and fits perfectly. The 6 pack makes it very economical and will last for months to come

Works well at keeping my razor clean. I run it once a week and a single cartridge lasts about 2 months. The hotter it is out, the cartridge lasts less. I would guess due to evaporation. Made in Ireland, always top quality. Standard cartridge, so it can be used with newer razors when necessary, you won’t loose any unless you change razor brands. It has a nice aroma. Just run it 24 hours before you plan on using it next, it takes a while to dry.
