Great with keeping your goatee trim
Perfect for what I need. A groom maybe every 4 or 5 days. I've had it since November. I just re'charged it for the first time in june. If you don't use it all the time the battery life is really good. Also, I only brushed out the hair from the blade and don't take it apart to clean it like it says to this. No need to

The most amazing product.
I’ve had many other beard trimmers of good brands however this one kicks all the other mayor brands by far. The confort of having all the sizes at hand means no mess and the trimmer with all the accessories fits any where because is only one pice. Is very precise and cuts even. I love this item beyond imagination.

had to mod it
Works great for beard sculpting and smoothing as is. But to trim to the skin, i had to take the dial a gauge gadget off the trimmer. 2 screws, wiggle it a little and it pops right off. My moustache thanked me with a much better looking line where stache met lip. Battery life is great.

A bit disappointed
I have owned three of these, and have generally been pleased with their performance. This latest one, however, has some spec changes that leave me a little underwhelmed. The shaving blade is narrower, meaning that it takes more strokes to trim my beard. Also, the blade itself isn't as sharp as previous models, meaning that it takes a few strokes on each patch of facial skin to cut all of the hair. Previous models didn't have that issue.

No Shave November? Nope, I just hate using this horrible trimmer
Look, the charging dock is the only cool part about this. Everything else is awful. I've used the same Philips Norelco Series 3000 for the past five years. It cost me $20. I've never sharpened it, oiled it, or really anything. I have a short beard, sometimes down to stubble, but rarely anything fancy. I'm not shaving a whole beard off, just cleaning up facial hair. It works. I've never cut myself, nicked myself, anything, and I use it facing all sorts of wild directions, with no clips on, for all parts of my body. It's honestly an amazing product for $20. Go buy that. Don't, like I did, think "Let me give this Panasonic a try" because this product is an absolute worthless piece of junk. The first day I had it, I oiled it (you have to oil it OFTEN) and took it for a spin. Immediately cut my neck, then cut my lip trying to trim, with the guard on a 4 I couldn't get in close to my nose. Hair constantly got caught in the guard and I had to rinse it out, frequently. When I was done I had to clean it out thoroughly and, again, oil it. I used it for about six months, oiling it religiously. It never got better. Cuts, scrapes, my facial hair grew the longest it'd been in years. Someone asked if I was doing No Shave November --- nope, I just really hate this trimmer. Oh, and I wouldn't even let it get close to any other parts of my body. A few weeks ago I lost the tiny little oil tool. I went to Target to buy more... $6. I spent $20 and bought the Philips Norelco Series 3000, drove home, and threw this Panasonic in the trash where it belongs.
