This set is perfect for regripping. The tool is sharp and cuts very easily through the old grip. The tape is quality stuff and holds the grip as expected. The solvent works as designed. The holder makes it easy to put the new grip on the club without damaging the shaft. I don't have a vise, so I use a clamp to hold it on the table, so it doesn't move. I had no issues with regripping my clubs.

I’ve never replaced grips on a club before but decided to give it a try. Bought this kit along with an extended grip for my blade putter and gave it a try. The instructions were perfect and guided me step by step. The hook blade that comes with this kit is perfect for taking off the old grips and the tape. I followed the directions on how to take off the old grips and how to install the new ones with the tape and lube and the new grips went on great. I feel confident now that I can replace any of the grips on any of my clubs now when I have to.

This is my third time regripping my clubs and it went much better with this kit than the cheap Chinese company kits I used previously. This tape wraps all the way around the shaft, and the solvent is more viscous, allowing it to keep the tape and the inside of the grip wet for longer for an easier push onto the shaft. I did not need to use an air compressor to push the grips on like I had to before. Even the clamp and the removal tool worked as described.Save your sanity and spend a few dollars more on this kit.

Works as described. If you follow the instructions it works as intended. Best part is they give you a lot of the grip sheets and solvent is resuable so you could do a lot of clubs if you needed. A little tough without a vice but certainly doable and has nothing to do with the product quality.

Super Easy! I got an Odyssey White Ice putter cheap- great quality, but the grip was horrible and beat up. I new the club itself was of terrific quality- and just needed a bath and a grip. The best part is that changing the grip with this kit was easy. I always see "solvent"...what kind of solvent? Mineral spirits, paint thinner degreaser, simple green? What? This kit makes it simple, and no guesswork. The strips go on, dowse the inside of the grip, pour the rest on the tape, then slide the grip on (the 'solvent' makes the tape slippery so it's easy- then align, and your done...set it aside for a couple hours- and you've just saved a bunch of money!

Watch a few YouTube videos before attempting. I had never regripped clubs before and I found this tape and solvent very easy to work with. Good quality. I used a paint tray to collect the solvent run off. The hardest part was taking off the old grips/glue.

I Purchased, the new grip kit to replace my old grips on my golf clubs. The kit worked wonderfully couldn’t be happier.

Stuck well ,no real instructions , i put tape on peeled off paper covered the shaft untill slippery all over then pushed grip over shaft , you have to work fairly quickly to get grip into right place as it sticks quick ,used black rubber thing over to of grip pushing down top to bottom a few times seems to have done the job winning

OH i was so nervous! After being told it was going to take 2 weeks to get my clubs Re-gripped I bought 3 grips for my most used clubs and an oversized grip for the putter. Watched video after video and am glad I found this package! Came with the knife that made things so easy to use. I did go to a neighbour’s to use his vice which did make the process easier. I am so pleased with this purchase!

Arrived when advertised, included everything it was suppose to. instructions were very clear. This was the first time I had attempted to re-grip my clubs and couldn't have been easier. If you're looking for all the tools you'll need (minus the vice) then this is your product! Will recommend this set to my buddies for sure!
