I needed something small to travel. This was perfect I primarily only use this for my bangs. I can never get the blow dryer to work on my bangs. This was the perfect flat iron solution. We travel a lot on a motorcycle so I needed it small and compact. Fits perfect and also great when I am flying since you don't find these in hotels. Glad I purchased this. Worked great.

.....at least when it comes to a straightener.So lets start with the pros: Its great for travel, comes in a super handy bag. Its really cute.Has all of the power of a regular sized straightener.I have pretty long hair, and it straightened it well. I didn't like that the straightener I received didn't look like the one pictured. It had a different brand name on it, and was a different color. Not really that big of a deal, but worth mentioning. Also, it did take awhile to heat up, and once it heated up, it still wasn't even super hot. But it still did the job, and thats all that matters. It was also really hard to maneuver back into the bag once I took it out, but Im sure will figure this out in time. Overall, Im happy with the product itself, and hope to get a lot of use out of it.

This little dude is ok..it doesn’t get as hot as I need but it’ll do in a pinch only around my face for baby hairs or VERY thin sections of hair. Shipping was fast, great seller, esthetically pleasing and high quality. Just doesn’t get hot enough or as hot as I’m used to. It may be perfect for you, give it a try.

In fairness, this product is as advertised. I wish I would have known it barely works, though. It's so small, the plates lose heat as soon as I straighten an inch of my hair, and unless I go super slowmo I get no straightening at all. I can't make waves or curls, I wish i wouldn't have bought it because it's useless. It is perfectly tiny, and easy to take traveling, but why bother if it doesn't work? Disappointing, but at least it wasn't expensive.

I purchased this mini flat iron to seal my nail strips in the plastic after us hoping this would be less cumbersome. To my surprise this thing was worthless and a hazard! I’d return it if I didn’t throw the box away! First, the design sucks! I pinched my skin on my finger literally 3 times before use! WTH?! Design is terrible where it can pinch you?! It apparently doesn’t get hot enough. I sealed the plastic opening for several seconds like 3 times to make sure. A week later I decided to check it and it’s NOT sealed!!! Seriously?! If it can’t seal freaking plastic it ain’t straightening my hair. What a waste!

I have very fine hair, and this works well! It took me about 3 mins to straighten one half of my hair (see picture). For $10.00, you can’t beat this. Also love that it comes with a “lid” to keep it closed so it travels better. I will be carrying this around in my purse to freshen up at work. My boss likes to walk around outside when it’s humid and raining :) so this is going to be great to have!

I bought this to seal up my nail polish strip packages because I was sick of getting my regular straightener out each time I do my nails, and thought it would be so much easier to have a mini one for my manicure case. I love it for that. However, I don’t think it would be hot enough to straighten hair well. But, it is a super handy little tool to have in a pinch for traveling or for sealing up things.

I ordered this specifically for travel, and from that aspect the size is great. It will definitely fit in carry on luggage and bags used to pack toiletries. As far as heat is concerned, there’s only an on/off switch and it does heat up quickly. Unfortunately the plates are small so it’s not ideal for someone with a lot of long hair. It may work for someone with short thin hair? This item could potentially work very well for more customers if they would consider making the plates larger and not change the overall length of the item to preserve its compactness for travel.
